Marie Adler, Kirchenpeace 2024

Marie Adler makes natural, low-intervention wines in the Pfalz, in south-west Germany. Kirchenpeace is a distinctive Riesling that stands well apart from the region's mainstream. Like all her wines, it is bottled unfiltered and unfined, with minimal sulphur.

A finely meshed tannin structure with gentle fruit, and subtle, never showy, use of wood.

Serve with: roast pork, Asian dishes, smoked fish or hard cheeses.
